Level Up Your Coding Skills With Python
July 30 – August 2, 2024
The goal of this summer camp is to help students participating in the Tech Journey CoderDojoDSM program “level up” their coding skills by being introduced to Python, one of the leading programming languages in the world. Unlike standard CoderDojoDSM meetups where students decide on their own projects and work, participants will receive instruction each day of camp as they complete small, fun projects that will give them a basic understanding of coding in Python.
Requirements:
- Must be an active, current participant in Tech Journey’s CoderDojoDSM program,
- Sixth grade or older, and
- Commitment to daily attendance.
As a free camp with limited seats, Tech Journey desires to give priority to students who can commit to attending every day of the learning activity. Please do not register a student who cannot participate each day.

Students will use Tech Journey Chromebooks to ensure a uniform camp experience. For continued work in Python, staff will advise students on how to use Python after camp.
