Ready Set Robot is an introductory enrichment experience for youth ages 8+ to freely explore and learn about robotics. At this fun, hands-on workshop, students receive a brief overview of robotics and then spend time programming age-appropriate robots in a safe and supportive environment. No prior experience is needed but familiarity with a computer keyboard and mouse is helpful for programming most of the robots. Parents, we encourage you to enjoy this learning experience with younger students. All equipment is provided and registration is required through the Des Moines Public Library system at https://ia.evanced.info/dmpl/lib/eventsignup.asp?ID=66260. Food will be provided at the end of the program.
