DESCRIPTION:GOALLLLLLLL! \nThis YouthCode coding and robotics camp is for middle school students served by Des Moines Refugee Support. With soccer as the weekly theme\, daily lessons and activities will introduce students to the basics of coding and robotics through programming a micro:bit computing device and Finch Robot. Camp will cumulate in red team versus blue team as students match up their robots for a game of soccer. \nThis camp is by invitation only. \nSpecial thanks to Athene\, Bankers Trust\, The Bayer Fund\, EMC Insurance\, Farm Bureau Financial Services\, GuideOne Foundation\, John Deere Des Moines Operations Committee\, Lean TECHniques\, Merchants Bonding and Vermeer Corporation for sponsoring Tech Journey’s 2024 summer programming.
