Each month at CoderDojoDSM, students ages 8 – 18 learn to code, build a website, create an app or game, program a robot, or simply explore technology in a less-structured, creative, and social environment.

• This month’s meetup will be at Lean TECHniques, an information technology and software development company based in Johnston.
• CoderDojoDSM is free and students of all skill levels are welcome.
• This month will include a special Christmas coding challenge to be shared at the meetup.
• A parent or guardian is required to complete the registration process. Youth age 8–13 require a parent or guardian to be present during the meetup.
• When registering, please select the appropriate ticket which tells us if the student will be bringing his/her own laptop computer or would like to reserve and use one of our computers.
• All skillsets are welcome! Those with advanced knowledge will be assisted in creating more advanced projects.
• Please be respectful to the volunteer leaders, mentors, and host. Volunteers give their time and talent and hosts provide other resources to make this program possible.
